Training Programs

Forest Killarney Football Club likes to offer their players the opportunity to develop their skills and extend themselves with additional training programs.

FKFC has extended its range of offerings over the last year to provide these opportunities. These include the following training programs:

SPEED FOR SPORT 
every Sunday at 4pm, all age groups
Learn the correct techniques to increase your speed for sport. Increase reactional speeds off the mark and lateral movements as well as your fitness and strengths needed for your sport. Training sessions are run by Clayton Kearney (former World and Australian Sprint Champion)

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Friday 28 April – Friday 30 June 2017
boys and girls – U9-U14, all skill levels
This exclusive training regime focuses on individual skills and ball control and is aimed at building player confidence and ability to allow players to achieve their best.

GOALKEEPER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Tuesday 2 May – Tuesday 27 June 2017
boys and girls – U9-U18, all skill levels
Goalkeeping sessions will focus on and aim to improve strength, agility, speed, reflex, balance, basic diving/ball handing techniques, ball distribution and positioning techniques.
