TUESDAYS – Girls sessions
Session 1 (5.00pm-6.00pm): 6-8 yrs
Session 2 (6.00pm-7.00pm): 9-11 yrs
Session 3 (7.00-8.00pm): 12-14 yrs

THURSDAYS – Boys Sessions
Session 1 (5.00pm-6.00pm): 6-8 yrs
Session 2 (6.00pm-7.00pm): 9-11 yrs
Session 3 (7.00-8.00pm): 12-14 yrs (also Monday nights 7 – 8pm)

Please arrive before the start of the session to be ready to train at the start of the allocated time.

Forest Player Academy for Goalkeepers

DATES: APRIL 30TH TO JULY 6TH 2018*

MONDAY, TUESDAY & THURSDAY evenings (mixed):

Session 1: Mondays 5.00-6.00pm for U10 – U13
Session 2: Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm for U14 – U16
Session 3: Thursdays 6.00-7.00pm for U10 – U13

Goalkeeping sessions will focus on and aim to improve strength, agility, speed, reflex, balance, basic diving/ball handing techniques, ball distribution and positioning techniques.

Academy Coaches

Billy Keir

Forest Killarney Football Club is delighted to introduce Billy Keir, the 2018 Technical Director. He will head up the ongoing development of coaches and players throughout the 2018 season.

Billy has coached at FKFC for 8 years and has recently competed his C licence with the goal to commence a B licence course later on this year.

He is instrumental in the planning and establishment of the F.F.A. Coach Coordinator Program at FKFC for the 2018 Winter season, a program which will provide a mentoring structure for all coaches of all levels within the club; the operations of our Forest Summer FootballCompetition and the FKFC School Holiday Camps. He is also currently working on the establishment of our new FKFC Player Academy due to commence for Term 1 in 2018 (details to follow soon)

Billy has played football from an early age and played semi professional football in his homeland of Scotland. He then continued his playing career for Auburn and Rockdale in the NSW State league and afterwards for Dee Why after relocating to the Northern Beaches. His highlight was playing alongside George Best in the Dee Why vs Manly game in 1983 in front of a crowd of 5000 people at Cromer Park.

Hannah Bromley

Forest Killarney FC are delighted to announce the appointment of ex Sydney FC and Newcastle Jets W-League player Hannah Bromley as the 2018 Women’s Premier League coach and coach of the Forest Player Academy.

Hannah played professional football in Norway and Germany and represented her native New Zealand with selection for FIFA Women’s World Cup in China 2007 and had appearances as a player at FIFA U-20 Women’s World Championship in Russia 2006.

Hannah has accepted the role as Club Ambassador for promoting Girl’s football at FKFC. This renews the focus on expanding the number of female players and coaches within the club. This brings a turning point for FKFC in providing a mentoring program and high level development for girls wanting to play football for Forest Killarney FC at all levels.
