Summer Soccer Returns

We are excited to announce the FKFC Summer Soccer competition to begin on Monday the 1st of November, and Friday the 5th of November!   This is of course dependent on 80% double vaccination which is expected to be the last week of October.

Please note:

  • It will still be a 15 week competition finishing mid-March.
  • Player Registrations will open Monday 11 October.   An Early bird discount will be offered until the 20th of October.  An email will be sent to Team Managers with further information this week.
  • 16yrs and over must be double vaccinated (players, managers and coaches). Football NSW will provide further information this week on how this is managed.   From December 1, people who are unvaccinated can participate.

Are you looking for a team? We can help!

If you are an individual player keen to play Summer Soccer and would like to join a team, OR your team needs more players, feel free to contact us to see if we can assist you.  Please complete this form for individual players or for partial teams and we will endeavour to find or form a team for you.

MWFA unfortunately abandons 2021 season

Dear Forest Killarney FC Players, Parents and Supporters,

Regrettably last night the MWFA and all the clubs in the association made the decision to abandon the 2021 season. This follows the recent NSW Government extension of the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders put in place across all of Greater Sydney including the Blacktown Cumberland, Fairfield, Liverpool, Canterbury-Bankstown, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas until the 28th August 2021.

Please refer to the link attached HERE to read the full message from the MWFA detailing what will happen regarding competition winners and the issue of medallions and trophies.

A big thanks to all our valued volunteers, players, managers, parents, friends, supporters and committee who have done such a great job in getting season 2021 underway and their ongoing efforts in making the season an enjoyable one for our members.

It’s disappointing that we couldn’t finish the season, however the health of our members and local community is paramount.

Please stay safe and take care.

Giuseppe Guerrera

U13 State Cup

Sunday June 13 | Forest Killarney U13/1A vs Moorebank Sports Club |

3-0 (Aidan x2, Tobias)

Lenny the Leprechaun was off early last Sunday morning on the June long weekend in search of some action from the 13/1 boys in their State Cup round 3 game versus Moorebank Sports Club. He was desperate to find Sub of the month to satisfy the King 👑

Instead he witnessed some sparkling football at Hammondville Park the home ground for Moorebank. With a composed approach by all and dominating possession the boys opened the scoring after 13 minutes with Aidan driving the ball home. Tobias quickly followed and the boys went into halftime leading 2-0.

The second half lead to more quality football with Sean sending a beautiful cross for Aidan to header past the keeper into the back of the net. The team played outstanding on the day with special mention to Zach for his stellar performance

The team now progresses to the final 8 in the State after the 3-0 victory

Lenny had to settle for Subway not Sub of the month

60th Year Anniversary

In 2022, Forest Killarney Football Club will be celebrating its 60th Year Anniversary!

As part of the celebrations, we have decided to listen to our community and their opinions from our survey earlier this year about the club going forward. As well as relaunching our club’s Social Media, which you would have seen if you follow our Facebook and/or Instagram, there was a big outcry for a modernised logo for the club, amongst other things.

As a football club that places so much emphasis on community and family, we have decided to leave it up to YOU!

We are requesting that people submit ideas, whether they be rough drawings or other club’s logos, for our FKFC committee to vote on.

There will be 10 logos chosen out of all the submissions which will again be put forward to you, the FKFC community, to vote on their favourite concept/idea.

We are also looking at designing a new Away strip. We ask that you try have a crack at this too, preferably focusing on using the club Black and Green, and if you are feeling audacious, try squeezing in Royal Blue for an old Killarney Soccer Club throwback!

Please send all submissions to, as well as any ideas you may have for the 60th Year Anniversary such as how we could celebrate it, or what we could get made for our members, e.g. scarves, polos, retro kits, etc.
