MPL Round 3 | Match Review

Amazing result all things considered.

Our boys went 2 nil down after 50 minutes. This group of men never give up, they showed hunger and desire to share the points on the night. Forest pressed hard right up to the final whistle almost snatching victory.

Impressive result and spirited come back after BTH won 5-1 the previous week against a strong Mosman team.

Darragh Reynor week in and week brings the goods, and tonight was no different. Darragh once again demonstrated he had Ice in his veins, amazing composure and finish from our favourite Irishman ☘️.

Next on the score sheet was James Silvas. Silvas has the ability and talent to bring those moments. Great work from Sheepway, Reynor and Hayden left Silvas with space around 25 yards out with still a lot to do. A magnificent power shot with just enough bend around the BTH keeper. A wonderful solo goal. Silva’s goal was a key factor in Paul O’Shaughnessy’s men gaining a vital point in the league.

Every player made strong contributions on the park and this team is galvanising and each week the combinations grow stronger.

Next up are local rivals Wakehurst. See you all at Melwood at 3 pm 💚
